Adventure Racing 101
6:30pm – 8pm, Wednesday, July 12 (Sunnyvale)
Interested in Adventure Racing, but don’t know where to begin? Have no fear, answers are here! As adventure racing continues to grow in popularity, many are still unfamiliar with the basic fundamentals that go into this ultimate of team endurance and multi-discipline sport. Join experienced adventure racing athletes and coaches, Will Gilmore and Jennifer Kaflin, as they provide an overview of the sport, discuss basic training programs near you, equipment needs and upcoming events for first timers, beginners or advanced.

Injury Prevention for Athletes
7PM-8PM, Thursday, July 13 (Presidio)
Injury prevention is an important lesson for any athlete to learn. Join Dr. Brian Kerner as he discusses important techniques that will allow you to avoid injury focusing on specific exercises and home-care techniques. Trigger and pressure point therapy will also be discussed.

Surf Simulator Clinic
7pm - 8:30pm, Thursday, July 27 (Presidio)
Make your ocean surf class easier and your time-to-get-up shorter.
With a little practice, you'll have a smooth pop-up motion and your
weight centered on the surf board. Do the practice inside on Surf Simulators,
so you get up on that first wave sooner. (see simulator at www.adventurous.com)
